She has been tasked with leading Canva’s B2B marketing strategy, spanning brand, demand and customer marketing for enterprise audiences. Her appointment reflects continued investment in Canva’s B2B business as the company looks to expand its footprint among large organisations.

She will report to global chief marketing and communications officer, Zach Kitschke.

‘Not a random tactic’: B2B marketers on ‘mapping’ events to the full funnel

Prior to joining Canva, Gendalman spent over 12 years at Salesforce, where she held a range of leadership positions across enterprise marketing, helping support the company’s growth with large and complex customers. Her work focused on go-to-market strategy, customer engagement and aligning marketing closely with sales and product teams.

More recently, Gendelman held senior marketing roles at DocuSign, including global and regional leadership positions. At DocuSign, she worked across growth, field and lifecycle marketing, with responsibility for supporting enterprise demand generation and customer expansion across international markets.

“Throughout my career, I’ve focused on helping B2B teams communicate more clearly and effectively with their customers,” Gendelman says. “Canva is uniquely built for this moment, giving businesses a way to turn imagination into execution and scale on-brand, visual communication across the enterprise.”

Gendelman joins Canva as its enterprise business continues to grow rapidly. It claims to be doubling growth year-on-year and now serve 95% of the Fortune 500. Enterprise customers include Stripe, LinkedIn, Snowflake and Pinterest.

The business says bringing Gendelman on board is indicative of both the momentum of Canva Enterprise and its ongoing focus on building its senior leadership team to support growth in the B2B market.
