AB InBev and Carlsberg fail to drive increased demand for brands

Two of the world’s biggest brewers saw volumes fall in their third quarters, as they faced tough consumer sentiment in many markets.

Two of the world’s biggest beer companies saw volumes decline in their most recent quarter as they contended with “challenging conditions”.

AB InBev, which owns brands including Corona and Budweiser, and Carlsberg, which as well as its namesake brand has a portfolio including Kronenbourg 1664 and Brooklyn Pilsner, both reported their earnings today (31 October). And both of these major brewing businesses saw volumes decline in their third quarters ended 30 September.
