Massive Marketing Quiz raises over £200,000 for charity

You can still get involved by bidding on an online auction that runs until 13 December.

More than 170 CMOs from across the UK marketing industry gathered last week to take part in the Massive Marketing Quiz in support of two worthy charities.

The fun-packed evening held in Snap’s UK headquarters saw the finest marketing minds come together to test their grey matter and, more importantly, raise money for The Marketing Academy Foundation and homelessness charity Under One Sky.

Held with support from Marketing Week, Fortune Hill, The Marketing Academy and The Marketing Society, the event – this time themed around iconic brands – has so far raised over £200,000 through donations, sponsorship and prizes.

The money raised will go towards helping The Marketing Academy Foundation in its quest to diversify the talent entering the marketing industry and also to support Under The Sky in its efforts to end homelessness through education and collaboration.

“We harnessed the energy, creativity, connectivity and generosity of the marketing leadership community to raise a huge amount of money. The Massive Marketing Quiz means The Marketing Academy Foundation can help so many more deserving young people access this wonderful profession, and Under One Sky can make a massive difference to the lives of so many people living on the streets,” says Fortune Hill CEO Joel Barnett.

“Thank you to everyone who took part and made the event such a success, especially our hosts Snap and our amazingly generous sponsors.”

You can still get involved and help support the event by bidding in its online auction which will run until midnight on 13 December.

Lots include a luxury vineyard stay for 12 people, tickets to musicals, concerts and sporting events, masterclasses and experiences and much more.
